I know I’m only an Englishman, and therefore not best placed to comment, but in my opinion, this song, whether performed acoustically or otherwise (as in this case) is simply one of the very best modern America “folk” songs. And when it’s written by none other than the great Bruce Springsteen, and played so emotionally and powerfully by Bruce, the E Street Band and The NightWatchman himself, Tom Morello, it is just absolutely astounding!
