I have to be there when the light is. The photograph doesn’t wait for a time, And is not found in a place, That is convenient to me. It asks me to lay my life aside in order to live my LIFE. That is ridiculous. Why can’t they be more compatible? Why can’t my LIFE be as smooth and easy as I like my life to be? Why does what I love to do require me to do what I hate to do? Here’s the lesson: We don’t love all there is to love about what we love. We have to make sacrifices and concessions In the service of what we love. We can’t let what we don’t love keep us from doing what we love. We have to grow up, And do what needs to be done, Whether we want to or not. This applies to the things we love, And to the things we do not love. Growing up is the solution to all of our problems today.
