After a good hike up to the summit for sunset yesterday, I hung around until the early hours as the skies were so clear, with views of the peaks from the Lake District, the Isle of Man and Ireland, all as clear as day and coming to life as streetlights blinked into action in the distance while dusk settled in below me. As we’re still under summer skies it still doesn’t get fully dark as seen by the twilight left of shot, but its still possible to pick up some good detail in the galaxy on a new moon and clear night. The lights on the cost of Ireland can even be seen far-right too.
