I took this shot about 30 minutes after my previous post. Even though the sky was not too cloudy it seemed to take forever for the sun to break through, and this was the main shot I was going for. The breeze made it difficult to use the aperture needed to capture a defined sunburst, so I decided to blend two shots in Zerene Stacker software, in an attempt to at least allow me to work with an acceptably sharp final image. The biggest thrill of this shoot was that I had never seen lupines look as good as this. I was lucky to be here during prime wildflower peak time, as I stood amongst lupines that were over five feet tall.
