The Vltava river is 430 kilometers long and runs through the Czech Republic. In Prague, the river is crossed by 18 bridges, including the famous Charles Bridge, shown here in the foreground. Overlooking the river on the hill is the Prague Castle. The Guinness Book of Records lists Prague Castle as the largest ancient castle in the world.
