Photo by @stephenwilkes: The Friendship Bridge at Thakhek links Laos to Thailand, a fellow Buddhist Nation. The bridge opened in 2011, and is one of four Thai-Lao friendship bridges built over the Mekong River since 1994. It was a pleasure to travel to such an incredible country that has overcome so much.
