A Morning in Gothic Valley – Avalanche lilies and innumerable wildflowers stretch across the Gothic Valley floor as early morning light shines on the steep rock face of Gothic Mountain, near Crested Butte, Colorado. This is a single shot long exposure taking advantage of a few moments when the breeze was almost non-existent at ground level while the clouds above in the distance were moving quite fast.
