Tsukiji Fish Market: Early morning light turns water into fire as fishmongers hose down the catch of tuna. 20 years ago when this photograph was taken, hundreds of tuna covering hundreds of meters of the fish market floor were on display and the auction took hours. I visited recently and found less than 10 meters of fish displayed behind ropes barring any access for a closeup.
