With a lineage that dates back more than 100 million years, these animals once witnessed dinosaurs walking on beaches and today, in some places, they emerge to see condominiums. Leatherbacks are the largest and deepest diving sea turtle species and make the longest migrations. They can grow to lengths of 7-feet and weights of up to 2000 pounds.
