A lone male Arctic wolf of the far north cruises across the sea ice near Ellesmere Island, Nunavut. We were looking for polar bears, however we were pleasantly surprised to see white wolves feeding on old seal meat that remained from a polar bear meal. This moment was captured at 2 AM while the sun skimmed above the horizon during the 24 hour sunlight of the spring.
