After weeks of patient work we, my camera assistant at the time, Lars-Magnus Ejdeholm and I, managed to, over many weeks, gradually habituate two different groups of meerkats! In fact, much thanks to a wonderful collaboration with Professor Tim Clutton-Brock and his science team.
