The first Sawmill on this site was built by the West Virginia Spruce Company in 1902. The Mill burned in 1922 and was replaced by a larger Mill. The operation closed down in 1960, and the remains were destroyed by fire in 1982. via Flickr http://flic.kr/p/wjD3FL
