Le retour triomphal en France de Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds pour un show “taille patron”. La classe inaltérable des derniers rockers, à la furia toujours indomptée.

C’était leur dernière virée. Le 17 novembre 2024, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds faisaient chavirer l’Accord Arena de Paris lors de l’ultime date d’une longue tournée européenne. Après sept ans sans avoir pris le large, la formation rattrapait le temps perdu avec un show munificent, à l’émotion éruptive, puisant dans ses titres les plus forts, tels “Weeping song” ou “Red right hand” ou les pépites de son dernier album, l’acclamé Wild God.

Avec sur le pont Colin Greenwood (bassiste de Radiohead), Warren Ellis, George Vjestica, Jim Sclavunos, Carly Paradis, Larry Mullins et quatre choristes ((T Jae Cole, Miça Townsend, Janet Ramus et Wendi Rose) en lamé argent gonflant les voiles du meilleur gospel, le capitaine de vaisseau Nick Cave dompte les éléments déchaînés par la puissance de son rock tempétueux. À portée de (sa) voix grave et furieuse, la houle humaine des 20 000 spectateurs se laisse emporter au large sans espoir de retour au calme.
