At an appearance of Meet the Press on Sunday, January 23, David Gregory asked Majority Leader Eric Cantor if he is willing “to tackle the entitlement of Social Security.” Failing to get an answer from Cantor, Gregory pointed out that Republicans have asked Rep. Paul Ryan to respond to the President’s State of the Union address — a man who proposed a plan that would essentially end Social Security.
