Cygnus by .Rem FER06 Via Flickr: First test with my star adventurer mount. This was shot with my usual unmodified Sony Nex 3N with a Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 lens. 13 exposures @f/2.4 ISO 3200 and 120s. No dark, flat or other… Most noticeable in this shoot is the North America nebula and the million stars.

Milky Way [Explored] by Romain Vernoux Via Flickr: I haven’t posted here in a long time–the past few weeks have been quite busy! Here’s a picture I took with a friend at Valensole, France, a few days ago. The place was quite dark and light pollution kept to a minimum, making it possible to capture the Milky Way with high contrast. Even then, shooting this picture was quite technical! We found this abandoned ruin and decided to paint it with orange light. I’m pretty happy with the result, even though this is my first Milky Way photo… Any input is welcome!
