While the mystic is therefore a thinking individual, she or he must also be an active one. To be true does not mean speaking brusquely or rudely, or showing a lack of politeness or tact; it means being the true reflection of what we are, and not playing on the feelings of others, or saying one thing and doing another.

When we look deep into the heart of a flower, we see clouds, sunshine, minerals, time, the earth, and everything else in the cosmos in it. Without clouds there could be no rain, and there would be no flower.
