‘In Japan, anti-nuclear campaigners are using the 66th anniversary of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima to push the government to abandon nuclear power.

As many as 275,000 people are thought to have died after the US attacked the city with a nuclear bomb near the end of the Second World War.

The anniversary comes as Japan struggles to contain nuclear fallout from the Fukushima reactors, crippled during the March earthquake and tsunami.’
