The deepest strike of the entire full-scale invasion. The last of Russia’s eleven biggest gasoline producers to be hit. And the end of the one strategic asset Moscow believed no enemy could ever take from it: distance. Zelensky’s verdict, in his evening address: “Siberia, too, is now within reach of Ukrainian precision strikes.” That single sentence rewrites the geography of this war. Scale and depth are no longer a protection or strength for Russia, but a vulnerability.
