Center of the Future: The Game of Love
We both want to be with you, she says — I love you
And I believe her, and I still love her, just not the same
Kind of love as hers — Longing and deep desire
Threatening to overpower every other waking thought
Obsession — And no escape even in dreams — Needing
To want to be with the other — And we will always love
Each other — No matter what happens, how much pain
And sorrow comes from being apart from you
There is always a way, a possibility for happiness

The thing is, I’ve been missing her like crazy, and I can’t think about the Sandman books without being reminded of her, and vice versa.
Annie moved in with me in the spring of 2004, just at the tail end of my annus…

We are on the right track, but more must be done to increase global peace and security …
By Greg Thielmann
The Department of State released today the latest data exchange for the systems limited by the 2010 New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START). Under the provisions of the treaty, the two parties are obligated to exchange data in three categories of strategic forces every six months. The fact of the data exchange reflects well on the parties and on the treaty, but the contents tell a different story.
In the two most significant categories, deployed warheads and delivery vehicles, the Russians continue to register below the treaty ceilings, which must be met by February 2018. The United States continues to be well above them. During the first 18 months of the treaty’s implementation, neither side’s strategic force levels have undergone dramatic change.
Both sides appear to be on track to eventually slip below all of the ceilings — in the seven years permitted under the treaty…

Most of us are familiar with this picture. Captured in Times Square on V-J Day, 1945, it has become one of the most iconic photographs of American history, symbolizing the jubilation and exuberance felt throughout the country at the end of World War II.
For a long time, the identity of the pair remained a mystery. It certainly looks passionate and romantic enough, with many speculating that they were a couple – a sailor and a nurse, celebrating and sharing their joy. This year, however, historians have finally confirmed that the woman is Greta Zimmer Friedman, a dental nurse at the time, and George Mendonsa, a sailor.
Have a look at some articles about it. Do you get the feeling that something is not quite right?
A few facts have come to light. Far from being a kiss between a loving couple, we learn…
